Attorney Loignon

When it comes to Estate Planning I appreciate that women approach the end game differently. Women are more concerned with intangibles – values such as security, freedom, independence and the welfare of their children and family. Most importantly, I am an attorney who understands that women want to be integral to the process and work with advisors who listen and encourage their input.

I create Estate Plans for women that reflect their values, relationships and spiritual beliefs.

Practice Areas

  • Estate Planning

Estate planning is usually described as the process of anticipating and arranging, during a person's life, for the management and disposal of that person's estate during the person's life and at and after death, while minimizing gift, estate, generation skipping transfer, and income tax.

  • Probate and Estate Settlement

Probate is the judicial process whereby a will is "proved" in a court of law and accepted as a valid public document that is the true last testament of the deceased, or whereby the estate is settled according to the laws of intestacy in the state of residence [or real property] of the deceased at time of death in the absence of a legal will.

  • Guardianship

A guardianship for an incapacitated senior will typically arise where someone determines that a senior has become unable to care for their own person and/or property.

  • Small Businesses

Do you have a small business or business idea in Rhode Island? I can help firm up your business plan in a way that will help you see your path more clearly.

“When our mom passed, Tracy Loignon was highly recommended to represent our estate.
I could not have asked for better, professional representation. She is always available, knows the law.
When you retain Tracy, you’re in the best hands
